• The Mode Switch: Our unique Mode switch doubles the functionality of all knobs and push buttons. The Mode Switch works like a modifier key allowing each knob and button to perform two different functions. A blinking LED alerts you when the Mode Switch is active. The silver toggle switches are not affected by the Mode Switch.
• 9 Silver Toggle Switches: 9 high quality silver switches are installed along the bottom-left side to control things like the MASTER, AVIONICS, PITOT HEAT, FUEL PUMP, LANDING LIGHTS, GEAR, etc. The red Mode Switch is also located here. Included on all FlightPanel™ FLEX Instrument Panels.
• 10 Dual-Mode Push Buttons with IntelliPress™: 10 dual-mode push buttons deliver amazing control over your flight simulator airplane and avionics. These buttons are mounted horizontally along the bottom-right side. These buttons will IntelliPress™ when you "press-and-hold", so they can even be used to tune radios, set transponder codes, and turn dials! Since each button can serve two roles, that's a total of 20 push button functions! Included on all FlightPanel™ FLEX Instrument Panels.
• OPTIONAL UPGRADE: 6 Dual-Mode Knobs with Acceleration Detection, PushButton Support, and IntelliPress™: Our optional Rotary Panel provides 6 dual mode knobs installed in the center of the instrument panel. Our unique IntelliSpin™ software allows you to turn dials and instruments much faster than traditional rotary encoder systems via simulated acceleration. Use these knobs to control airplane functions such as Altimeter Setting, Heading Bug, OBS Rotation, Radio Tuning, Altitude Preselect, etc. All 6 knobs also provide push button functionality with IntelliPress™. Since each knob can serve two roles this upgrade adds a total of 12 rotary functions and 12 pushbutton functions!
• Labels: Easily create custom labels for each switch, knob, and button assignment! Simply open the link to our free template (shared via Google Drive), fill in the assignments for your custom setup, and print the labels. They can easily be cut to size and inserted into your FlightPanel™ FLEX behind the included acrylic lenses!
• Easily Configured in Any Flight Simulator: Since all flight simulators allow the assignment of keystrokes to airplane functions, you can use the FlightPanel™ FLEX with any flight simulator software. No programming skills are necessary! Simply identify the function you want to control, and then press the button or turn the knob to submit the keystroke. FlightPanel™ FLEX works with all flight simulators: Xplane, P3D, FSX, and FS2020! Older flight simulators may require FSUIPC in order to map keystrokes.
• Rear Connections: Rear openings and two removable doors provide easy access to power, USB, and HDMI ports inside the panel.

FAQs about FlightPanel™ FLEX Flight Simulator Instrument Panels:

• I want the dual iPad option - what else is needed to bring my flight panel to life?

  You will need two 10" iPads, and whatever apps you prefer to display instrumentation and/or navigation screens on each. You can go with the traditional analog "six pack" gauges, or full digital gauges. There are even affordable G1000 apps you can run on the iPads! Look through the App Store to see what's available. With it's included Rotary Knobs, the FLEX Instrument panel will provide all of the switches, buttons, and knobs you need to control the airplane in your favorite flight simulator.

• Do I have to do any wiring or programming to make this work?

  Not at all! The FLEX Instrument Panel comes prewired. You simply need to plug a USB cable between the microcontroller and the computer.

• Does it really work with all Flight Simulators?

  Indeed it does! If you can assign a keystroke on your keyboard to a function in your Flight Sim, then you can use the FLEX Instrument Panel to control those functions with knobs, buttons, and switches, just as you would in a real airplane.
