The ideal mounting distance will place the projector outside your hitting enclosure (away from any netting), above and slightly in front of the golfer. The golf simulator image should fill your golf video projection impact screen horizontally, with little or no letter boxing above and below the image (this depends on the aspect ratio you select in the software). Of course, you can use these short throw golf projectors as a home theater system too!
